• The event will take place at different Cegeka offices (not sure if your office is joining? Ask!).
  • Each person, being a contributor or not, is allowed to propose projects, no restrictions on topic.
  • There is no imposed (min-max) limit on team size per project (although it can be self-imposed).
  • You do not have to be a developer to join this hackathon, you can even form teams that do not contain a single developer.
  • Each person is allowed to comment on projects, challenge goals, ...
  • Each project makes sure they come prepared
    • Reading group style preparation is encouraged, i.e. self-preparation + bi-weekly 1 bookable hour to discuss, sync, ...

  • The exploration day uses a 24 hour format
    • Starts at 5:00 PM on thursday (at your office of choice)
    • Ends at 6:00 PM on friday (including knowledge sharing presentations & drinks) (mandatory for all contributors)
    • Thursday evening is not bookable in camis, friday is bookable for up to 8 hours.
    • Staying late or even overnight on thursday is possible although certainly not mandatory :-)
  • Friday evening everybody gets together for presentations/demo/fair.
    • Non-contributors are welcome between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
    • Participation of all projects/contributors is mandatory.
  • A work order code for camis will be available (for Applications employees, others should bring their own)
  • Each project will be asked to deliver a textual artifact on their experiences (can be a blog post, presentation,...).
  • This event is limited to employees of Cegeka. Employees of Applications are automatically allowed to join. Employees of other divisions should get the authorization and budget of their management first.

  • any parties associated to the hackathon
  • social media
  • any other online media
Hackathon participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the hackathon without a refund (if applicable) at the discretion of the hackathon organisers.
